About Me

About Me

Shaped by Experience, Inspired by Mission

Hello, and welcome aboard this fascinating journey of awareness and flourishing.

There was a moment in my life when I recognised my entrapment—not through physical barriers, but due to inherited beliefs, conditioned thought patterns, and unquestioned mental frameworks. This realisation transformed everything. It launched me into a journey of intellectual exploration and personal growth, showing that our most significant prisons are often self-imposed. From that instant, I understood that my purpose would involve aiding others in their quest for freedom, too. So, Let me share a glimpse of my story with you, right here.

Born in 1975, I have experienced various cultural environments, including 15 years in Australia. As a father of two, my journey is significantly influenced by deep reflections on the human condition and a passion for personal growth. Currently, I serve as a philosopher, counsellor, Rumi scholar, and author, dedicated to connecting philosophy, Eastern wisdom, and modern psychology. What distinguishes my work is that my insights are not solely theoretical; they stem from a life filled with hardship, uncertainty, and formidable challenges. I have faced injustice, deprivation, and adversity. I have lived through the chaos of war, worked as a child, pursued self-education, and migrated to a foreign land, raising a family away from home. These many untold experiences have profoundly shaped my views on resilience, self-awareness, and the art of thriving.

My work focuses on awakening, self-development, and pursuing an informed, authentic life. With experience in both Persian-speaking and Western academic settings, I possess a unique ability to translate and reinterpret the rich intellectual and literary heritage of Persian philosophy and mysticism for a worldwide audience. My method blends timeless mystical insights with modern psychological and philosophical rigour.

I frequently lead seminars, workshops, and training sessions focused on self-care, relationships, resilience, personal growth, life philosophy, Rumi studies, and mysticism. I integrate insights from science, philosophy, and spirituality into daily life, activities, and relationships. My goal is to assist individuals in overcoming indoctrinated beliefs and self-imposed limitations, ultimately achieving flourishing and contentment—states attainable only through knowledge, awareness, and self-confidence.

In my view, the three most profound wells of wisdom are philosophy, psychology, and mysticism. I combine the insights from all three to provide guidance that enhances and transforms lives. I don’t focus on any particular group or location; my work is intended for anyone, anywhere, who is in search of growth and meaning.

If these words resonate with you—and if you seek more than what is shared here—I warmly invite you to join me on this journey of intellectual and personal discovery.

Inspiration and Philosophy

I draw much of my inspiration from the teachings of Socrates, who said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.” However, I believe that to live an examined life goes beyond reflection—it’s about living through the questions and the challenges they present.

Throughout my own journey, I’ve encountered hardship, loss, and transformation. From surviving accidents to experiencing poverty and homelessness, I have learned that pain and struggle can be powerful teachers. They’ve shaped me into the person I am today, fueling my passion to help others find meaning, healing, and peace.

As a Rumi scholar, I’ve come to understand the transformative power of love and empathy. As a teacher, I aim to guide others on their own paths of growth. And as a psychologist, I listen deeply, providing support to help others overcome challenges and heal from within.

I invite you to share your story with me in a safe, non-judgmental space. Together, we can explore your path to healing, resilience, and self-actualization.
