Greetings Mr. Habibvand, and thank you for your insightful content.
Can the observing and managing mindset be considered the same as mindfulness? Or not—because in mindfulness we are only observing our thoughts, and management or direction is beyond its scope?
Answer: Hello and thanks for your question.
You are correct—as you mentioned, in mindfulness or mindful awareness, the focus is solely on attention and awareness, without any judgment, resistance, or control. What I have proposed in self-knowledge and in the concept of the “Inner Parent” is far broader than mindfulness and, in general, broader than mere techniques and exercises. This approach encompasses the understanding and cultivation of all emotional, rational, and behavioral dimensions of our being.
